Arbaroriza is a traditional Greek restaurant located in the middle of the Aegean Sea, on Amorgos Island. Here, surrounded by the rough landscape and protected against the williwaw, one has a chance to taste and savor organic food cooked using homegrown farm-fresh products cultivated with care on regional smallholdings. The restaurant was named after the pink fragrant flower of pelargonium or arbaroriza that thrives in this area. Being a local hallmark, we could not help but make the flower a central element of the illustration designed as part of the brand’s visual identity. The font picked for both the logo and the menu design aims to showcase the cuisine’s nostalgic yet modern touch, while the natural shades are a reminder of the strong bond that earth and food share. Of course, to be in accordance with the brand’s green living approach, we chose to use recycled paper for all branding materials.
